Rosie Roberts

Rosie Roberts

Rosie Roberts has worked as an oncology nurse for 17 years, including 6 years as a chemotherapy unit ward manager and 6 years as a chemotherapy specialist nurse. She is currently employed by Velindre Cancer Centre, Cardiff, as Chemotherapy Navigator. Her aim in this role is to ensure that patients who experience toxicities following chemotherapy receive the best possible advice and care. She liaises between the Cancer Centre and local district general hospitals and provides training to staff caring for chemotherapy patients.

Rosie is currently chair of the Welsh Association of Chemotherapy Specialist Nurses and joint regional Vice Chair of the UKONS chemotherapy nurse forum. She has a particular interest in safe handling of chemotherapy during pregnancy, having worked as an oncology nurse through two pregnancies and having managed numerous pregnant staff.
